T&W is a nonprofit, charitable organization. Contributions to T&W are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. An unrestricted donation at the following levels will help T&W to:

• $50: Provide supplies for a T&W creative writing program at a public school or other community site in New York City or the surrounding communities.
• $100: Pay artists to contribute writing and images to the blog on T&W's website.
• $250: Offer a one-time writing workshop for young people and adults attending a book festival or other community event.
• $500: Sponsor a professional development session for T&W's writers.
• $750: Publish an article about the teaching of writing or an interview with a well-known writer in Teachers & Writers Magazine.
• $1,000: Publish an anthology of student writing at the end of a T&W creative writing program
• $5,000: Select a professional writer to provide a creative writing residency for 100-150 students at a school in New York City or the surrounding communities.
