In 2017, Teachers & Writers Collaborative will turn 50 years old. That's five decades of educating the imagination of students, teachers, and writers!

Since 1967, T&W has:

• Provided programs for more than 760,000 students and more than 26,000 teachers in K-12 schools.
• Published hundreds of issues of Teachers & Writers Magazine, covering issues and innovations in creative writing education and engaging writers, educators, and students in a conversation on the nature of creativity and the imagination.
• Supported writing teachers and organizations across the US and around the world with resources that include more than 80 books and free digital resources on teaching writing.
• Given thousands of writers the opportunity to share their passion for the art of writing.
