Carrington is a writer and educator who earned her bachelors in English and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a masters in education from Pace University as a New York City Teaching Fellow. From 2007-2011 she taught English in a public high school in Brooklyn. Carrington is now pursuing an MFA in creative writing at The New School with a concentration in poetry.
