Elizabeth’s nonfiction has appeared in The Believer, Tin House, Time Out New York, and The Rumpus, as well as numerous anthologies. Her memoir Philly Soul is about rhythm & blues and growing up bohemian. Elizabeth is completing DON’T TOUCH ME!, a surreal novel about a born-again Christian pop singer/reality-TV star. Her opera libretto, The Bloody Chamber, written with composer Daniel Felsenfeld, has been performed in New York and San Francisco. Elizabeth received her MFA from Columbia University.
