Jason’s fiction, nonfiction, and music journalism have appeared in literary journals, national and international magazines, and local and international newspapers. He has taught creative writing at New York University, where he earned an MFA, and through which he became a two-time Starworks Foundation Fellow, providing creative-writing therapy services at children’s hospitals across New York City and Long Island. After his MFA, Jason moved to Cambodia, where he wrote for the country’s English-language newspaper and taught English at a Buddhist monastery.
