Sari is a creative writer who works in fiction, nonfiction, and comics. Sari’s prose and comics writing has appeared in literary journals and anthologies. For her creative writing, she’s received a Wallace Stegner Creative Writing fellowship at Stanford University, a Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center Fellowship, and a residency at The Corporation of Yaddo. In 2011, she will publish two graphic books for Scholastic and is at work on an novel. Sari loves working with students on creative writing in its many forms. She has taught creative writing and literature at Stanford University and the Young Authors’ Conference at Westchester Community College. She’s also held workshops in comics writing for student writers and teachers with the New York City Department of Education and the Miami International Book Fair.
